First Post and Updates

So, for those of you actually interested, Book 1 of The Chosen Series is going well. I am about 3/4 of the way through with my first chapter, which I started at the beginning of August, and sorry it's taking so long to write, but my brother is an ESPN fanatic so you know how it is with them . . .

Well, anyway, I thought I'd reveal the initial plot line of the book in a what I like to call "Back Cover" format, like one of the cliffhanger summaries on the back of a book that loosely describes the characters and the story. Here it is:

Caderyn Nightshade was once just another member of the King's Valley Trade Route. But when a mysterious wizard shows up and tells him he is the Chosen, the one marked by an ancient race of people to insert the Last Keys into their proper place and remove the treasures within, his life changes forever. He becomes part of a secret quest to find the Final Key and reunite it with its fellows before it can be seized by The Shadows, an evil group of Forgotten Beings that have been plotting since their banishment to open a hidden prison with the Final Key and release the horrors inside. Can he save his world and all in it, or will love finally be overpowered by hate?
